Imagine, if you will, a gift. I'd you picture in you mind. 請想象一份禮物，請你們在腦海中構(gòu)想一下。

It's not too big. About the size of a golf ball.不是很大，大概高爾夫球般大小。

So in vision what it looks like all wrapped up. 包裝看上去大致是這個樣子。

Does Amazon carry it? Does it have the apple logo on it? Is there a waiting list? 在哪里可買到?亞馬遜網(wǎng)站上有嗎?是蘋果公司的產(chǎn)品嗎?要排隊等貨嗎?

Not likely. 都不對。

This gift came to me about five months ago. 大概5個月前，我收到了這份禮物。

And looked more like this when it was all wrapped up. Not quite so pretty. 包裹起來的話，大概是這個樣子。沒那么漂亮。

And this. And then this(A picture after operation). 之后是這個，還有這個。

It was a rare jam. A brain tumor. Hemangioblastoma. 一個罕見的麻煩，一顆腦瘤，成血管細(xì)胞瘤。

The gift that keeps on giving. And while I'm ok now. 這禮物一直在影響著我，現(xiàn)在我已無大礙了。

I wouldn't wish this gift for you. I'm not sure you'd want it. But I wouldn't change my experience. It profoundly alterned my life in ways it didn't expect. In all the ways I just shared with you. 我不希望這份禮物降臨于你，因為我不確定你是否想得到。但是我不渴望改變過去。它突如其來，徹底改變了我的生活，帶來了以上所述的那些改變。
