Last week I went to the concert with my husband. We got seated at the end of the row becuse we failed to make our reservations. But we still listened well. The theme of the concert was"Human&Peace".It was a great success. The four-hour concert was not only "good value", but also "good rocking".The audience were carried away by the performance. They didn't applaude enthusiastically until the conductor and the orchestra stood up and took a bow.The orchestra really made a hit through their dedication. They performed and recorded most of the classical pieces. And their performance had a personal intensity that made their sound instantly recognizable ,both in the concert & on disk. They have released many albums and people enjoy their music.

One of my first experiences with jazz music was when I was a kid.My dad and I went to a concert and heard Ornette Coleman play with his bands. At the concert I saw him play saxophone, trumpet, flute and even violin.I didn't think he played any of those instruments very well since he always seemed out of tune. His music was painfully lound and the bands that were backing him up sounded more like rock bands than jazz bands.
By the middle of the concert I looked over at my dad.He was covering both his ears with his hands and I could tell that the music was grating on his nerves like knives scraping against a blackboard.
On our way home,my dad told me that he first heard Ornette Coleman when he was my age.He said,"Not much has changed. His music was terrible then and it's terrible now".
