B:English,of course.

當然是英語。

A:Is she your teacher?

B:Yes.She teaches our class three times a week.

理想的老師

The ideal teacher may be young or old, tall or short, fat or thin.He should know his subject, but he can make mistakes if he's willing to learn.His personality is as important as his scholarship.The ideal teacher must be enthusiastic.He must teach anything he is interested in.To be a teacher is to be an actor.He should not be afraid to show his feelings and express his likes or dislikes.The ideal teacher is one who grows,learns and improves himself along with his students.

理想的老師可能是年輕的或者是年老的，高的或者是瘦的，肥的或者是胖的。他應該了解他的學科，但是如果他樂意去學，他可以犯錯誤。他的人格和他的學識一樣重要。理想的老師必須是有滿腔熱情的。他必須教任何他感興趣的東西。老師也是一名演員。他不應該害怕顯露感情，表達他喜歡或不喜歡。理想的老師是和學生一起成長、學習和提高自己的人。

4.Her subject was in itself appealing to most of the girls.

B:Indeed.He's strict with himself ,too.We can see every lecture of his is well-prepared.

Dialogue Two

A:Why did the teacher criticise Myra in front of the whole class?

老師為什么當著全班同學的面批評邁拉?

B:Because Myra was cheating on exams.and she spoke back rudely.

因為邁拉考試作弊，而且她很禮貌地回嘴。

A:I don't think that Myra should have spoken so rudely to the teacher.I know she was angry,but that's still no excuse for rudeness.

我認為邁拉和老師講話不應該這么沒禮貌。我知道她很生氣，但是無禮貌是沒有任何借口的。

Dialogue Three

A:I don't think the teacher had a right to say that.The teacher was wrong to have accused her in front of the whole class.

我認為那位老師沒有權利那樣說。那老師當著全班同學的面指責她是不對的。

B:You've got to be joking!It's the teacher's right to say anything wants, and if she saw Myra cheating,she certainly had the right to say so.

你一定是在開玩笑吧!那位老師有權說任何她想說的話，如果她說邁拉作弊，她當然有權那樣說。

A:I agree she had the right to say something,but I feel she should have done it privately.

我同意她有權說一些話，但是我覺得她本來應該私下做。

B:You're right.If I were the teacher,I wouldn't have done that.

你說得對。如果我是那位老師，我不會那樣做。

我難忘的老師

Of all the teacher I have had so far, Miss Wu,my college English teacher is the most unforgettable.She was very strict with us.None of the students in my class was late for class without good reasons and none of us left our homework undone.On the other hand she was very kind. If a student was sick,she never failed to visit him or her.She spent a lot of spare time helping us with our English studies.You cannot imagine how patient she was when she explained diffcult points to us.What's more,she was very energetic and good at teaching and in the lively atmosphere we never felt sleepy. It was her love and devotion that inspired interest and admiration in us.

目前為止，在教過我的老師之中，我大學的英語老師吳老師是最令我難忘的一個。她對我們非常嚴格。我們班的同學沒有人會無故遲到，沒有人不做作業(yè)。另一方面，她很和藹可親。如果學生生病，她都要去看望他或她。她花了很多業(yè)余時間來幫我們學習英語。你無法想象她在跟我們解釋難點時有多耐心。另外，她精力充沛，擅長教學，在輕松的氛圍中，我們從不覺得困乏。正是她的愛和奉獻激起了我們的興趣和欽佩。
