Leo: Over there, on the left you can see the Colonial quarter.
Mona: And what’s that over there?
Leo: That’s where they have the night market.

請(qǐng)注意聽利奧在提醒客人觀看那些有意思的景點(diǎn)時(shí)是怎么說的。
利奧: 那邊。。。在您的左邊是殖民廣場(chǎng)。
Leo: Over there, on the left you can see the Colonial quarter.
利奧: 您看那邊。。。您的右邊，那里是植物園。
Leo: If you look up there, on the right, you can see the botanic gardens.
在這幾句對(duì)話中，利奧使用了over on the left……. Up there on the right……you can see…..等幾個(gè)在旅游業(yè)中非常有用的短語。請(qǐng)跟著老師一起練習(xí)使用這些短語。我會(huì)先給出中文，請(qǐng)你在英語老師說出英語句型之后跟著重復(fù)。請(qǐng)看右邊。

在介紹一個(gè)地點(diǎn)的時(shí)候，比較簡(jiǎn)單的句型就是that’s where…現(xiàn)在讓我們跟著老師一起來練習(xí)一下這個(gè)句型。我還是先給出中文，請(qǐng)跟著英語老師重復(fù)英語句子。
那里是總統(tǒng)住的地方。
That’s where the President lives.
那里是舉行節(jié)慶的地方。
That’s where the festival is held.
那里是和尚念經(jīng)的地方。
