劇中：I’ll be on my best behavior.
on one’s best behavior : means to behave perfectly 行為舉止得體，經(jīng)常用于大人說小孩 ，大人也可以用來說自己，通常有調(diào)侃的意味。
e.g.<1> She had too much drink. She wasn’t on her best behavior.
她喝太多了，不像她的舉止了。
<2>I told him he would have to be on his best behavior all day, if he wanted to go to the zoo tomorrow.
我告訴他，如果他明天想去動物園，那么他今天的就要乖一些。

1.劇中：You’re nothing but humanitarian window-dressing.
window-dressing 用裝飾門面的手段吸引人，指裝裝樣子
e.g. <1>Those politicians talk about improving our society, but they’re just window-dressing. They really only care about making money.
