President Xi Jinping has urged China's supply and marketing cooperatives to stay true to their fundamental purpose of serving agriculture, rural areas and farmers, continue deepening comprehensive reforms, and make contributions to the advancement of rural vitalization. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks in an instruction on the sector's work.

【知識點(diǎn)】

供銷合作社是我國農(nóng)民自愿籌集股金并由國家扶助起來的社會(huì)主義合作經(jīng)濟(jì)組織。

1949年11月，中央合作事業(yè)管理局成立，主管全國合作事業(yè)。1950年7月，中華全國合作社聯(lián)合總社成立，統(tǒng)一領(lǐng)導(dǎo)和管理全國的供銷、消費(fèi)、信用、生產(chǎn)、漁業(yè)和手工業(yè)合作社。1954年7月，中華全國合作社聯(lián)合總社更名為中華全國供銷合作總社，建立了全國統(tǒng)一的供銷合作社系統(tǒng)。

黨的十八大以來，以習(xí)近平同志為核心的黨中央把解決好“三農(nóng)”問題作為全黨工作重中之重，供銷合作社綜合改革深入推進(jìn)。

經(jīng)過長期發(fā)展，供銷合作社現(xiàn)代流通網(wǎng)絡(luò)覆蓋面迅速擴(kuò)大，為農(nóng)服務(wù)領(lǐng)域進(jìn)一步拓展、功能日益凸顯，成為經(jīng)營性服務(wù)功能充分發(fā)揮、公益性服務(wù)作用不斷體現(xiàn)的新型農(nóng)村合作經(jīng)濟(jì)組織，是推動(dòng)農(nóng)村經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展和社會(huì)進(jìn)步的重要力量。

近年來，全國供銷合作社系統(tǒng)深化綜合改革，在促進(jìn)現(xiàn)代農(nóng)業(yè)建設(shè)、農(nóng)民增收致富、城鄉(xiāng)融合發(fā)展等方面做了大量工作。

Supply and marketing cooperatives across the country have deepened reforms and contributed a lot to promoting the development toward modern agriculture, increasing rural income and boosting integrated urban-rural development.

The cooperatives should improve systems and mechanisms, expand service areas, and accelerate efforts to become a comprehensive platform for serving rural production and livelihood as well as a bridge for the Party and the government to connect with farmers.
