中華人民共和國主席習(xí)近平于2019年10月13日結(jié)束對尼泊爾的國事訪問。中尼聯(lián)合聲明表示，兩國領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人就雙邊關(guān)系及共同關(guān)心的國際和地區(qū)問題深入交換意見，達(dá)成廣泛共識。

Leaders of China and Nepal reached broad understanding through in-depth exchange of views on bilateral relationship and regional and international issues of common concern, the two sides said in a joint statement issued on Sunday after Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit to Nepal.

聲明表示，雙方?jīng)Q定，在和平共處五項原則、《聯(lián)合國憲章》及睦鄰友好原則基礎(chǔ)上，將“中尼世代友好的全面合作伙伴關(guān)系”提升為“中尼面向發(fā)展與繁榮的世代友好的戰(zhàn)略合作伙伴關(guān)系”。

According to the statement, both sides decided to, on the basis of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, Charter of the United Nations and principles of good neighborliness, elevate China-Nepal Comprehensive Partnership of Cooperation Featuring Ever-lasting Friendship to Strategic Partnership of Cooperation Featuring Ever-lasting Friendship for Development and Prosperity.

2009年12月，時任尼泊爾總理馬達(dá)夫•庫馬爾•尼帕爾對中國進行國事訪問期間，雙方?jīng)Q定，在和平共處五項原則基礎(chǔ)上，建立和發(fā)展中尼世代友好的全面合作伙伴關(guān)系。

2017年9月7日，外交部長王毅在北京同尼泊爾副總理兼外長馬哈拉舉行會談后表示，中尼關(guān)系的發(fā)展有利于兩國和兩國人民根本利益，雙方將繼續(xù)從戰(zhàn)略高度看待和發(fā)展中尼關(guān)系，努力將中尼世代友好的全面合作伙伴關(guān)系提升到新高度。

【重要講話】

中尼兩國人民心意相通、休戚與共，是鄰國友好交往的典范。我希望通過這次訪問，傳承中尼傳統(tǒng)友誼，推動兩國關(guān)系更上一層樓。雙方要鞏固中尼關(guān)系政治基礎(chǔ)，把打造命運共同體作為中尼關(guān)系發(fā)展長遠(yuǎn)目標(biāo)。

The closely connected two peoples have shared weal and woe and set an example of friendly exchanges between neighboring countries. I hope to carry forward the traditional friendship and take the bilateral relationship to a new and higher level via the visit. Both sides should consolidate the political foundation of bilateral ties, and set the building of a community with a shared future as a long-term goal for the development of China-Nepal relations.
