在中國文聯(lián)、中國作協(xié)成立70周年之際，中共中央總書記、國家主席、中央軍委主席習(xí)近平發(fā)來賀信，代表黨中央表示熱烈祝賀，向全國廣大文藝工作者致以誠摯問候。習(xí)近平在賀信中指出，文藝事業(yè)是黨和人民的重要事業(yè)，文藝戰(zhàn)線是黨和人民的重要戰(zhàn)線。

President Xi Jinping has sent a congratulatory letter to honor the 70th anniversary of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the China Writers Association. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, extended greetings to writers and artists across the country on behalf of the CPC Central Committee. The development of literature and art is an important cause of the Party and the people, and the literary and art front is a vital front of the Party and the people, Xi noted.

中國文聯(lián)和中國作協(xié)均成立于1949年7月。中國文聯(lián)由56個(gè)團(tuán)體會(huì)員組成，現(xiàn)有全國性文藝家協(xié)會(huì)個(gè)人會(huì)員13.5萬人。中國作協(xié)有團(tuán)體會(huì)員46個(gè)，個(gè)人會(huì)員1.2萬人。新中國成立70年來，廣大文藝工作者響應(yīng)黨的號(hào)召，積極投身社會(huì)主義革命和建設(shè)、改革開放偉大實(shí)踐，創(chuàng)作出一批又一批膾炙人口的優(yōu)秀文藝作品，塑造了一批又一批經(jīng)典藝術(shù)形象。特別是黨的十八大以來，廣大文藝工作者堅(jiān)持以人民為中心的工作導(dǎo)向，深入生活、扎根人民，不斷增強(qiáng)腳力、眼力、腦力、筆力，推動(dòng)我國文藝事業(yè)呈現(xiàn)出良好發(fā)展態(tài)勢，文學(xué)、戲劇、電影、電視、音樂、舞蹈、美術(shù)、攝影、書法、曲藝、雜技、民間文藝、文藝評(píng)論等都取得了豐碩成果，弘揚(yáng)了民族精神和時(shí)代精神，為實(shí)現(xiàn)國家富強(qiáng)、社會(huì)進(jìn)步、人民幸福作出了十分重要的貢獻(xiàn)。

人民是歷史的創(chuàng)造者，是時(shí)代的雕塑者。廣大文藝工作者要觀照人民的生活、命運(yùn)、情感，表達(dá)人民的心愿、心情、心聲，立志創(chuàng)作出在人民中傳之久遠(yuǎn)的精品力作。

People are the creators of history and sculptors of time. Artists should care about people's lives, voices and emotion, and create works that inspire the people and are appreciated by the people.
