2018年度國家最高科學(xué)技術(shù)獎出爐！聽習(xí)語話科技

Radar expert Liu Yongtan and defense engineer Major General Qian Qihu were honored with the 2018 State Preeminent Science and Technology Award on Tuesday.

1月8日，雷達(dá)專家劉永坦和防護(hù)工程專家錢七虎少將獲得2018年度國家最高科學(xué)技術(shù)獎。

國家科學(xué)技術(shù)獎(State Science and Technology Award)每年評審一次，根據(jù)最新發(fā)布的《關(guān)于深化科技獎勵制度改革的方案》，規(guī)定“國家三大獎”每年授獎總數(shù)不超過300項。國家科學(xué)技術(shù)獎包括、國家自然科學(xué)獎(the State Natural Science Award)、國家技術(shù)發(fā)明獎(the State Technological Innovation Award)、國家科技進(jìn)步獎(the State Science and Technology Advancement Award)，即大家常說的“國家三大獎”。還包括授予外籍科學(xué)家或外國組織的中華人民共和國國際科學(xué)技術(shù)合作獎(the International Science and Technology Cooperation Award)，和分量最重的國家最高科學(xué)技術(shù)獎(State Preeminent Science and Technology Award)。

國家最高科學(xué)技術(shù)獎是為表彰在基礎(chǔ)科學(xué)研究領(lǐng)域取得重大突破(achieve important breakthroughs in basic scientific research)，并帶來深遠(yuǎn)影響(with far-reaching influence)的科學(xué)工作者，以及創(chuàng)造了巨大經(jīng)濟(jì)效益(generate enormous economic returns)、促進(jìn)了社會進(jìn)步(facilitate social progress)的杰出科學(xué)家而設(shè)立的。

【兩位獲獎人】

中國科學(xué)院院士、中國工程院院士(an academician at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering)劉永坦是中國對海探測新體制雷達(dá)理論與技術(shù)奠基人和引領(lǐng)者，40年來，這位著名雷達(dá)與信號處理技術(shù)專家(expert in radar and signal processing)致力于中國新體制雷達(dá)事業(yè)的發(fā)展，為中國筑起了“海防長城(Great Wall of Maritime Defense)”。

著名防護(hù)工程專家(defense engineering expert)、中國工程院院士(an academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering)錢七虎是中國現(xiàn)代防護(hù)工程理論奠基人(founder of China's modern defense engineering theory)，創(chuàng)建了中國防護(hù)工程學(xué)科和人才培養(yǎng)體系，他以科技強(qiáng)軍、鑄盾報國為畢生追求，對中國防護(hù)工程各個時期的建設(shè)發(fā)展做出突出貢獻(xiàn)，為中國鑄就堅不可摧的“地下鋼鐵長城(indestructible "Steel Great Wall" underground)”立下不朽功勛。
