重慶萬州公交車墜江 搜救繼續(xù)

Based on inquires and footage from surveillance cameras along the route, it was estimated that the bus was carrying more than 10 passengers at the time of the crash, local authorities said in a statement.

初步調(diào)查顯示，28日10時10分許，重慶萬州區(qū)一輛22路公交車行至萬州區(qū)長江二橋時，突然越過中心實線(crossed the solid center line)，闖入對向車道，與一輛正常行駛的小轎車(collided with an oncoming car)相撞后沖破護欄墜入長江(broke through the guardrail and plunged into the Yangtze River)。

道路上的車道分界線一般分為白色虛線(broken white line)、白色實線(solid white line)、黃色實線(solid yellow line)。白色虛線是分隔同向車的，在安全的情況下可以變道(change lane)、超車(overtake)。白色實線也是分隔同向車的，不過不可變道。黃色實線是分隔不同向行駛的車的( mark the center of a road used for two-way traffic)，既可作分界線，也可做中心線，不可變道。

水下機器人先后兩次下水，最終確認墜江車輛位于水下約68米處(the bus had sunk 68 meters below the surface)，蛙人救援隊、吊船(salvage lifting vessel)等專業(yè)打撈力量正全力開展工作。

目前，搜救船正在車輛墜江水域進行掃測，待車輛位置精確定位后，將根據(jù)打撈方案，派潛水員(professional divers)到水下定位起吊。

While the identities of the two bodies are being verified, the city government has organized community workers to interview neighborhoods to find out identities of possible victims.

在確認兩名遇難者身份的同時，重慶市政府已經(jīng)組織社區(qū)工作人員走訪周邊社區(qū)，查找公交車上其他乘客的身份。
