三星Note7全球停售 建議關機

10月11日，三星在官方網站上發(fā)表聲明，要求所有合作伙伴停止銷售和置換Galaxy Note 7手機。聲明中還進一步要求Note7用戶關機，停止使用，包括持原裝手機以及近期已完成更換的用戶。

The South Korean firm also said it would stop all sales of the phone.

該公司同時表示全面停止銷售此款手機。

Samsung recalled 2.5m phones in September after complaints of exploding batteries and later assured customers that all replaced devices were safe.

今年9月，三星公司曾因電池爆炸問題召回了250萬臺Note7手機，之后向消費者保證所有更換的設備都是安全的。

But there are now reports that even those phones that had been replaced were catching fire.

但是如今又有報道顯示，更換后的手機仍然會起火。

三星公司近期面臨的危機總結起來有這么幾個關鍵詞：

電池爆炸 exploding batteries

最近幾年，智能手機市場競爭激烈。各個制造商都在手機電池方面進行“軍備競賽”(arms race)，追求更小的電池，更長時間的續(xù)航能力，以及更短的充電時間。

據(jù)分析人士稱，三星這款手機之所以會發(fā)生爆炸，就是因為電池的正負極接觸導致短路(negative and positive electrodes coming together have caused short circuits)，手機過熱，從而引發(fā)手機起火和爆炸。

召回 recall

三星Note7手機起火爆炸事件之后，公司在全球召回了250萬臺。其中有75%更換了新的Note7手機或者其他機型( replaced with either a Note 7 or another Samsung handset)。

停售 stopping all sales

召回并更換后的Note7手機仍然發(fā)生了多起起火爆炸事故，三星公司發(fā)布聲明，全面停售該款手機，并要求用戶在調查起火原因期間關閉手機(turn off the smartphone while it investigates new reports of the device catching fire)。
