各種各樣的“口罩”英語

　　曾幾何時，口罩已經(jīng)成了人們每日出行必備物品。有統(tǒng)計數(shù)據(jù)顯示，口罩的網(wǎng)上銷量甚至一度超越了避孕套。

　　如此重要的生活用品，怎能不了解一下關(guān)于它的各種英文表達(dá)。咱們今天就來學(xué)一學(xué)。

　　市面上常見的幾種口罩

　　▌保暖口罩

　　Cold-weather mask

　　

　　常由幾層棉布構(gòu)成，內(nèi)夾棉絮。這類口罩通常只具有保暖的作用，可以阻隔較大顆粒的灰塵，但對于可吸入顆粒物幾乎沒有防護(hù)作用。

　　▌醫(yī)用外科口罩

　　Surgical mask

　　

 

　　大多都為一次性使用，不需要清洗，使用也比較方便，同時，相較于民用口罩，對呼吸道疾病的防護(hù)作用更加明顯。

　　▌活性炭口罩

　　Activated Carbon mask

　　

　　活性炭口罩的活性炭層可增加對異味的濾除作用，但不能增加對顆粒物的防護(hù)效果。

　　▌防污染口罩

　　Anti-pollution mask

　　

 

　　也可稱為 pollution mask 和 respirator ['resp?reit?]。指能夠過濾空氣中的顆粒物的口罩，如3M、Vogmask一類的N95型口罩。

　　▌時尚口罩

　　trendy mask

　　

　　追求時尚、潮流美感的口罩，同時也可以作為保暖作用，但一般說來，此類口罩對疾病的防護(hù)是比較微弱的。

　　▌另外，mask在英語中不光只是口罩，還指面罩、面具，比如化裝舞會上帶的面具就叫做masquerade mask。

　　我們今天著重講的是防霧霾的pollution mask。

　　防霾口罩常用表達(dá)

　　▌N95型口罩 N95 mask

　　也可以稱為N95-certified masks，或masks rated N95。

　　95型口罩，是NIOSH(National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health，美國國家職業(yè)安全衛(wèi)生研究所)認(rèn)證的9種防顆粒物口罩中的一種。

　　?A mask rated N95 filters out more than 95% of particles larger than 0.3 microns.

　　達(dá)到N95等級的口罩可以濾除超過95%的直徑大于0.3微米的顆粒物。

　　N99的意思就是可以濾除99%的直徑大于0.3微米的顆粒物。

　　▌耳戴式口罩 earloop mask

　　

　　▌頭戴式口罩 headband mask

　　

 

　　▌耳帶、頭帶 strap

　　可調(diào)節(jié)長短的耳/頭帶是adjustable strap。

　　▌可調(diào)節(jié)金屬鼻夾 metal nose clip

　　

　　這個表述比較靈活，還可以說成metal nose bar、metal nose band、metal nose bridge等。
