高?！皩W(xué)匪”根源探究

Special discipline inspection groups from Shanxi provincial Party committee in North China have recently pointed out that there have been violations in the selection of officials in Changzhi Medical College and the political ecology there has serious problems. Some college leaders are academic bandits rather than scholars.

山西省委專項巡視組近日通報，長治醫(yī)學(xué)院違規(guī)提拔干部，政治生態(tài)問題嚴(yán)重。個別校領(lǐng)導(dǎo)名為學(xué)者，實為學(xué)匪。

在學(xué)匪(academic bandits)面前，我們不但見證了學(xué)術(shù)的式微，更看到了學(xué)者的墮落(degeneration of academics)。對社會和大學(xué)來說，更應(yīng)該認(rèn)真考量學(xué)匪出現(xiàn)的原因，以及我們離現(xiàn)代大學(xué)制度(a modern college system)的距離有多遠(yuǎn)。

當(dāng)前的高校管理制度(current college management system)脫胎于傳統(tǒng)體制，從某些方面來說，大學(xué)是政府的附屬品(appendents to the authorities)和政策的延伸物，實行的是以行政權(quán)力(administrative power)為主導(dǎo)的管理模式。

更直接地說，大學(xué)自身發(fā)展的內(nèi)在邏輯受阻，形成了有悖于學(xué)術(shù)性組織本質(zhì)(against the nature of academic institutions)的行政化官僚體系(bureaucratic system)，從而抑制了大學(xué)的學(xué)術(shù)創(chuàng)造活力(impede vitality of colleges in academic innovation)，這無形中給學(xué)匪的產(chǎn)生制造了空隙(provide soil that breeds the academic bandits)。
