英下院通過(guò)“三親育子”法案

The technique of creating a baby from three persons uses a modified version of IVF to combine the DNA of the two parents with the healthy mitochondria of a donor woman.

所謂“三親育子”技術(shù)，是利用改良的人工受孕手段，將來(lái)自父母的基因與一位女性捐獻(xiàn)者的健康線(xiàn)粒體結(jié)合在一起。

The UK is set to become the first country to introduce laws to allow the creation of babies from three people. Estimates suggest 150 three-person babies could be born each year.

據(jù)悉，英國(guó)將成為首個(gè)在法律上允許擁有三名父母的嬰兒出生的國(guó)家。據(jù)估計(jì)，每年將有150名“三親嬰兒”出生。

A further vote is required in the House of Lords. If everything goes ahead then the first such baby could be born next year.
