中國十余省區(qū)“干旱”持續(xù)

Severe drought has sent river levels in parts of central and northern China to record lows, affecting millions of hectares of farmland and leaving more than a million people short of water.

嚴(yán)重干旱已導(dǎo)致華中和華北部分地區(qū)河水水位降至歷史最低點(diǎn)，并使數(shù)百萬公頃農(nóng)田和一百多萬人面臨缺水困境。

干旱(drought)似乎是每年夏季都會(huì)被提及的一個(gè)詞。不過，今年我國多地遭遇的嚴(yán)重氣象干旱(meteorological drought)為多年少見。其中，河南省6月以來的降水量(precipitation)較往年正常水平低了40%，為63年來最低。
