英國試行“醒酒腳環(huán)”

酒后犯罪的人屢教不改怎么辦?英國倫敦今年推出的一個試點項目值得借鑒：他們學習美國的經(jīng)驗，為屢次酒后犯罪的人佩戴監(jiān)控腳環(huán)，只要他再喝酒，腳環(huán)就會發(fā)出警報告知假釋官，犯罪分子就得因此重回監(jiān)獄。

People who repeatedly commit alcohol-related crime will be forced to wear ankle tags that monitor if they are still drinking, under a year-long pilot scheme in London.

倫敦將實行為期一年的試點項目，多次酒后犯罪的人將被強制佩戴監(jiān)控腳環(huán)。

The "sobriety tags", to be worn around the clock, will enforce abstinence by measuring a person's perspiration every 30 minutes and testing to see if it contains alcohol.

這種“醒酒腳環(huán)”將24小時佩戴，每半小時對佩戴者的汗液進行酒精測試以對其進行強制戒酒。

If any trace is found, an alert will be sent to the offender's probation officer and they can then be recalled to court, where they may be resentenced or face sanctions such as a fine.

一旦測試出酒精，腳環(huán)就會對佩戴者的假釋官發(fā)出警告信號，佩戴者會被再次面臨審判，有可能再次獲刑或者被罰款。
