西非國家“埃博拉病毒”蔓延

Precautionary measures are being put in-place in the city of Guangzhou to stop the potential spread of the Ebola virus, which has killed hundreds of people in west Africa this year.

廣州已采取預防措施阻止埃博拉病毒的傳播，該病毒今年已在西非國家導致數(shù)百人喪生。

Ebola virus disease (埃博拉病毒，EVD)常見癥狀有：高燒、出血以及中樞神經(jīng)系統(tǒng)損傷(central nervous system damage)，該病毒潛伏期(incubation period)為2到21天，致死率(fatality rate)高達90%，病毒通過接觸患者的血液、分泌物或其他體液(bodily fluids)傳播。

世衛(wèi)組織認為,非洲的果蝠(fruit bats)可能是埃博拉病毒的天然宿主(natural host)。目前沒有針對該病毒的疫苗(vaccine)或治愈辦法(cure)。
