社交媒體時(shí)代的“超級(jí)生活記錄”

去哪里玩兒要在朋友圈秀一下，晚飯吃了什么要發(fā)個(gè)微博，連掉頭發(fā)這樣的事情也要發(fā)條狀態(tài)抱怨一下。在社交媒體時(shí)代，我們似乎已經(jīng)形成了為自己撰寫生活記錄的習(xí)慣。有時(shí)候，我們會(huì)覺得自己做很多事情是為了寫條狀態(tài)。我們已經(jīng)進(jìn)入了“超級(jí)生活記錄”時(shí)代。

 

 

Hyper-documentation refers to the exhaustive and incessant recording of the details and events of one’s life, particularly when these are shared on social media.

Hyper-documentation指詳盡且不間斷地記錄生活中的各種細(xì)節(jié)和活動(dòng)，尤其當(dāng)這些細(xì)節(jié)被分享到社交媒體上的時(shí)候，我們譯為“超級(jí)生活記錄”。

It now seems truer than ever for many social media users (particularly, teenagers and young adults) that “If you’re not on MySpace [and/or other social media sites], you don’t exist.” Moreover, the pervasiveness of documentation throughout virtually every aspect of our daily lives has led us to start living for the documents, rather than the documents simply reflecting some aspect of our lives. Today, we must always behave as if our actions will be preserved forever and for all to see (because, most likely, they will). In the world of social media, there is no longer a “back stage”. As far as we know, there is always an audience watching our every move with rapt attention, ready to applaud or jeer at any second.

現(xiàn)在，對(duì)很多社交媒體用戶(尤其是青少年和年輕人)來說，“如果你不在社交媒體上，你就不存在”這句話比任何時(shí)候都能反映現(xiàn)實(shí)。此外，幾乎涵蓋我們?nèi)粘Ｉ罘椒矫婷娴倪@種全方位記錄已經(jīng)讓我們開始為了這些記錄而活，而不是讓記錄簡(jiǎn)單反映我們生活的某個(gè)方面。如今，我們需要時(shí)刻注意自己的言行，就好像我們的行為會(huì)被永久保存且供大家“觀賞”(因?yàn)椋苡锌赡芫蜁?huì)是這樣)。在社交媒體的世界里，已經(jīng)不再有什么“后臺(tái)”。我們都知道，時(shí)刻會(huì)有觀眾饒有興致地關(guān)注著我們的一言一行，隨時(shí)準(zhǔn)備鼓掌或加以嘲弄。
