The nominees for the 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards are here with certified national treasure Dick Van Dyke becoming the oldest nominee in the awards' history.

The 98-year-old actor has been nominated for his guest turn on Days of Our Lives, on which he played an elderly man with amnesia.

"I have played old men before, but 'comedy old men,'" Van Dyke said of the role last year. "This is the first time I ever just played my 97-year-old self."

Elsewhere, Amazon scored its first Daytime Drama Emmy nomination with Neighbours, a reboot of the popular Australian soap. Guy Pearce, who starred on the original series from 1986-89, reprised his role as Mike Young and will go head to head against Van Dyke in the Guest Performer Category.
