It's been two decades since Usher confessed it all.

The iconic R&B singer, 45, released his album Confessions 20 years ago on Saturday, and is marking the occasion by thanking his fans for their ongoing support.

Alongside a compilation of the music videos for some of the album's iconic tracks, Usher wrote, "20 years ago today, we dropped the iconic ‘Confessions’ album, which is now 14x Platinum. Making it the highest RIAA certified album by a male soloist released this century."

Without you, Confessions wouldn’t be the masterpiece it is."

The singer will soon embark on his USHER: Past Present Future tour, kicking off in August. The tour will feature music from throughout his 30-year career, including hits from his first album, 1994’s Usher, and of course including tracks from 2004's Confessions.

Usher spoke candidly about Confessions in his February PEOPLE cover story, revealing that there "is a great deal of truth in that album."
