Jelly Roll has a staggering amount of tattoos — but that doesn’t mean he likes them.

In a video interview with GQ, the “Need a Favor” singer revealed that he de dislikes almost all of his ink. “I regret 98% of these tattoos. 97% — almost all of them,” Jelly Roll said. “Like, core philosophies that I rooted my life in when I was 17 and now I’m 40, I’m like ‘What the f--- was I thinking?’”

For example, Roll’s neck features the Nashville skyline to cover up the phrase “Surviving the struggle” — which was missing a “T” due to a typo, so it read “Surviving the sruggle.”

There are a select few tattoos that still hold personal meaning for the singer — particularly the large cross on his face. “It was symbolic of a change in me,” he said. “It was symbolic of kind of a new beginning, understanding that I need to bear my own cross.”

And quite a few years ago, I looked at my wife, and I said, ‘I don’t want to be bound to these old tattoos anymore. I want them to be reflective of who I am.’ and I was like ‘I think I’m gonna put Music Man on my forehead.’”
