　　高手都很擅長改寫句子，也就是要換句話來表達(dá)同樣的意思。也就是in other words，這個能力在sentence simplification題型里，淋漓盡致地體現(xiàn)了考官此意圖，比如原文這么說：

　　One explanation for green icebergs attributes their color to an optical illusion when blue ice is illuminated by a near-horizon red Sun, but green icebergs stand out among white and blue icebergs under a great variety of light conditions.

　　正確選項則是長這樣：

　　One explanation attributes the color of green icebergs to an optical illusion under special light conditions, but green icebergs appear distinct from other icebergs under a great variety of light conditions.

　　這種題目要求我們抓住句子的主要含義，也就是句子的主要結(jié)構(gòu)，對于這個句子則是一個邏輯轉(zhuǎn)折詞but，那么我們在做題的時候就需要找到選項里也含有轉(zhuǎn)折含義詞，然后在此轉(zhuǎn)折詞(but)前后的句子分別找出自己的主干結(jié)構(gòu)相對應(yīng)。

　　前面部分句子是冰山顏色(their color/the color of green icebergs)在某些條件下(by a near-horizon red Sun/special light conditions)是視錯覺(optical illusion/optical illusion)導(dǎo)致的。

　　后面部分句子是說綠冰山(green icebergs/green icebergs)在某些條件下( under a great variety of light conditions/under a great variety of light conditions)會出現(xiàn)在白色冰山和藍(lán)色冰山之間(stand out among white and blue icebergs/appear distinct from other icebergs)。像這樣把句子拆分開來，即是整句翻譯有困難，也不會影響我們做題了。
