　　The most important letter that I can remember was a letter applying for a job. 我記得最重要的一封信是自己申請一份工作的信函。

　　I had seen this job advertised in a local newspaper, the evening editon.

　　我在當地報紙晚間版刊登的廣告上看到這份工作。

　　It suited me very much and I was immediately attracted to it.

　　它非常適合我,所以我立刻被吸引了。

　　It said to apply in writing, giving details of your experience, your education and when you were available，and you had to give the names and contacts of two references.

　　它要求進行書面申請,提供經驗,受教育程度及到崗時間等等細節(jié),而且你必須填寫兩個緊急聯系人的名字和號碼。

　　I was qualified for the job and eager to get it.

　　我自己覺得能勝任,渴望得到這份工作。

　　When I was finished writing I was pretty satisfied and a little pleased, posted it off to the address given and waited!

　　當我寫完非常滿意和高興,投到要求的地址后就只剩下等待!

　　Thankfully, before I sweated too much, I got a letter after a couple of days, saying they wanted me to come in for interview.

　　謝天謝地,就在我忐忑不安等待的幾天之后就收到了一封信,表示他們想讓我去面試。

　　I was very pleased to go for the interview and got the job, my first job!

　　我非常高興去面試并得到了那份工作,我的第一份工作!
