英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)八句型翻譯：無(wú)主句的翻譯

　　無(wú)主句的概念

　　分不出主語(yǔ)和謂語(yǔ)的單句稱(chēng)為無(wú)主句。無(wú)主句又分為：動(dòng)詞性無(wú)主句、形容詞無(wú)主句、名詞性無(wú)主句和嘆詞句。

　　動(dòng)詞性無(wú)主句通常用來(lái)說(shuō)明自然現(xiàn)象、生活情況、祈望、有的是口號(hào)。

　　形容詞無(wú)主句通常是用形容詞或形容詞短語(yǔ)形成，通常用于對(duì)話(huà)中，表示對(duì)某個(gè)事情，觀點(diǎn)，表示自己是贊成還是不贊成、發(fā)表感嘆等等。

　　名詞性無(wú)主句通常是由一個(gè)名詞或名詞性偏正短語(yǔ)形成，用于劇本說(shuō)明時(shí)間、地點(diǎn)，或者表示贊嘆;表示突然發(fā)現(xiàn)的事物，表示稱(chēng)呼，呼喚。

　　嘆詞句由嘆詞形成，主要用于發(fā)表感嘆。

　　無(wú)主句的翻譯，主要是動(dòng)詞性無(wú)主句的翻譯比較難一點(diǎn)。

　　(一)動(dòng)賓結(jié)構(gòu)的無(wú)主句可以翻譯成被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)。

　　1)沒(méi)有安定的政治環(huán)境，干什么都不成。

　　Nothing can be accomplished without a stable political environment.

　　2)沒(méi)有愛(ài)心，就無(wú)法了解人生。

　　Life cannot be understood without much charity.

　　3)用科學(xué)的方法來(lái)分析，才能更好地解決問(wèn)題。

　　Only being scientifically analyzed, can the problems be solved in a better way.

　　(二)翻譯成英語(yǔ)的存在句(There + be + NP結(jié)構(gòu))

　　漢語(yǔ)中的格言、諺語(yǔ)、哲理、經(jīng)驗(yàn)往往用無(wú)主句來(lái)表達(dá)，以表示它們所表達(dá)意義具有廣泛性、客觀性。因此，可以用英語(yǔ)的 “there + be +NP ” ,“it + be …+ to … ” 來(lái)翻譯。

　　1)活到老，學(xué)到老。

　　One is never too old to learn.

　　2)沒(méi)有改革開(kāi)放，就沒(méi)有今天的經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展。

　　Without reform and opening to the outside world, there would be no economic development of today.

　　(三)翻譯成英語(yǔ)的祈使句

　　1)寧為雞首，不為牛后。

　　Better be the head of an ass than the tail of a horse.

　　2)量體裁衣，看菜吃飯。

　　Fit the dress to the figure and fit the appetite to the dishes.

　　(四)翻譯成英語(yǔ)的形式主語(yǔ)句

　　1)百聞不如一見(jiàn)。

　　It is better to see once than to hear a hundred times.

　　Seeing for oneself is better than hearing from others.)

　　2)十年樹(shù)木，百年樹(shù)人。

　　It takes ten years to grow trees, but a hundred to rear people.

　　(五)翻譯時(shí)增添適當(dāng)?shù)闹髡Z(yǔ)

　　1)只許州官放火，不準(zhǔn)(許)百姓點(diǎn)燈。
