1.in order that

They worked hard in order that they might succeed.他們努力工作，以便能夠獲得成功。

In order that they might not disturb us they whispered.

他們低聲細語，免得打擾我們。

2.so that

He raised his voice so that everyone could hear.他提高了嗓音，以便每個人都能聽見。

He took the early train so that he should arrive on time.他乘早班車以便能準(zhǔn)時到達。

3.for fear that

He works hard for fear that he should fail.他怕失敗，因此工作很努力。

He locked up the document for fear that it （should）be stolen.
