一、并列句的分類(lèi)

1.表示并列關(guān)系

常用連詞：and not only ...but （also）

He didn’t go and she didn’t go either.他沒(méi)去，她也沒(méi)去。

This article is well-written and you’d better read it.這篇文章寫(xiě)得很好，你最好看看。

Not only everything he had had taken away from him，but also his German citizenship was taken away from him.不僅他所有的一切被剝奪，而且連他的德國(guó)國(guó)籍也被剝奪了。

2.表示轉(zhuǎn)折關(guān)系

常用連詞：but yet when while

I would have written before but I have been ill.我本該早寫(xiě)信的，但我生病了。

She’s a funny girl，yet you can’t help liking her.她很滑稽，但你禁不住會(huì)喜歡她。

He sold it for 10 dollars when everyone else sold it for 12.別人賣(mài)12元，他卻賣(mài)10元。

You like tennis，while I’d rather read.你愛(ài)打網(wǎng)球，但我愛(ài)看書(shū)。

3.表示選擇關(guān)系

常用連詞：or either ...or ...

Be careful about what you say or you may regret it.當(dāng)心你講的話(huà)，否則你會(huì)后悔的。

Will he still be there or will he have gone away？ 他還在那里還是可能已經(jīng)走了？

Either you are mad or I am （mad）.不是你瘋了，就是我瘋了。

Either you must improve your work or we shall dismiss you.

要么你好好干，要么我就辭退你。

4.表示因果關(guān)系

常用連詞：for so

He shook his head，for he thought differently.他搖了搖頭，因?yàn)樗胁煌敕ā?/p>

The ground is wet，for it rained last night.地面是濕的，因?yàn)樽蛲硐逻^(guò)雨。

He told me to do it，so I did it.他讓我這樣做，于是我就這樣做了。

【提示】 for 并列連詞，表示因果關(guān)系，一般置于主句之后。
