一、連系動詞的分類

1.狀態(tài)系動詞：be

She is always like that.她總是那樣。

I am used to going about alone.我習(xí)慣于獨(dú)來獨(dú)往。

These shoes are too tight for me.這雙鞋我穿太小。

2.持續(xù)系動詞：keep，remain，stay，rest，lie，stand

I hope you’ll keep fit.我希望你身體好。

The door remained closed.門仍然關(guān)著。

He stayed single.他仍然是單身。

keep silent/silence 保持安靜　　　　　keep fit 保持健康

keep quiet 保持安靜　　　　　　　　　 keep warm 保暖

lie unknown 未知的　　　　　　　　　　stand still 站立不動

stay awake 保持清醒　　　　　　　　　 stay open 開業(yè)中

3.表像系動詞：seem，appear，look

He looks tired.他看起來很累。

The doctor seemed very capable.那醫(yī)生似乎很能干。

He appeared quite well.他看上去身體相當(dāng)好。

4.感官系動詞：look feel，smell，sound，taste

He looks honest，but actually he’s a cheat.他看起來很老實(shí)，實(shí)際他是個騙子。

Everybody feels contented.每個人都感到很滿足。

It sounds a good idea.這聽起來是個好主意。

This food tastes good.這菜好吃。

【提示】

①feel表示某人自身的感覺時，一般用進(jìn)行時。

Are you feeling better now？ 你現(xiàn)在好點(diǎn)了嗎？

I am feeling better.我覺得好點(diǎn)了。

②feel表示觸摸某物的感覺時，意為“摸起來……”，不用進(jìn)行時。

【辨析】這種布摸起來很軟。

【正】This kind of cloth feels very soft.

【誤】This kind of cloth is felt very soft.

5.變化系動詞：become，grow，turn，fall，get，go，come，run

He became mad after that.自那之后，他瘋了。

She had grown thinner and thinner.她越來越瘦了。

When she saw this，she turned red.她看到這，臉紅了。

Several people fell ill，victims of blood poisoning.

幾個人生病了，都是血中毒的受害者。

We get wiser as we get old.隨著年歲的增長，我們也變得聰明些了。

Your hair has gone quite white！ 你的頭發(fā)全白了！

（1）fall asleep 入睡　　　　　　　　　　　　fall ill 生病

　　 fall silent 靜默　　　　　　　　　　　　fall a victim 成為犧牲品

（2）go asleep 入睡　　　　　　　　　　　　　go bad （食物等）腐敗變質(zhì)

　　 go blind 失明　　　　　 　　　　　　　　go hungry 挨餓

　　 go mad 發(fā)狂　　　　　　 　　　　　　　　go mad with joy 欣喜若狂

　　 go red with anger 氣得（滿臉）通紅　　　go wrong 墮落，走入歧途

（3）run dry 變干　　　　　　　　　　　　　　run cold 變冷

　　 run low 不夠了　　　　　　　　　　　　　run short 缺乏

　　 run smooth 進(jìn)展順利　　　　　　　　　　 run wild 無人管

6.終止系動詞：prove，turn out

His story proved false.他講的情況原來是假的。

My intuition turned out to be correct.我的直覺證明是對的。

【提示】 prove，turn out后可以接to be不定式作表語，也可以省略to be。
