三、可數(shù)名詞和不可數(shù)名詞

1.可數(shù)名詞：可以用來計(jì)數(shù)的名詞，包括個(gè)體名詞和集體名詞

（1）可數(shù)名詞前可用具體的數(shù)詞來表示具體的數(shù)量。

two apples 兩個(gè)蘋果 four books 四本書

（2）可數(shù)名詞作主語時(shí)，謂語動(dòng)詞的單復(fù)數(shù)與主語的單復(fù)數(shù)保持一致。

This picture is very beautiful.這幅畫很美。（謂語動(dòng)詞用單數(shù)）

There are two cups of tea on the table.桌上有兩杯茶。（謂語動(dòng)詞用復(fù)數(shù)）

2.不可數(shù)名詞：物質(zhì)名詞和抽象名詞

3.名詞的修飾語

（1）可數(shù)名詞的修飾語

these 這些　　　those 那些　　　few 幾乎沒有　　　a few 幾個(gè)　　　many 許多

a good/great many 許多　　　　　a large number of 大量

Few people would agree with this.幾乎沒人會(huì)同意這種看法。

He has a large number of friends here.他在這兒有很多朋友。

【提示】

①a good/great many直接加復(fù)數(shù)名詞。

A good many students come from Shanghai.許多學(xué)生來自上海。

A great many people have attended his lecture.許多人聽過他的講座。

②a good many of接“人稱代詞賓格”。

A good many of them like swimming in summer.他們中有許多人喜歡夏季游泳。

A great many of us enjoy reading in our spare time.我們中有許多人喜歡在業(yè)余時(shí)間閱讀。

③a good many of接“限定詞（the，these，those，形容詞性物主代詞）+名詞”。

A good many of the students like playing computer games.許多學(xué)生喜歡打電子游戲。

A great many of these people have seen the film.這些人中有許多看過這部電影。

A good many of his students come from Shanghai.他的學(xué)生中有許多來自上海。

（2）不可數(shù)名詞的修飾語

this 這個(gè)　　that 那個(gè)　　little 幾乎沒有　　a little 很少　　a bit of 一點(diǎn)兒

much 許多　　a great deal of 大量　　　　　　a large amount of 大量

He didn’t give me much money.他沒給我很多錢。

A great deal of money is spent on research.研究工作花了許多錢。

（3）可數(shù)名詞與不可數(shù)名詞同時(shí)可用的修飾語

all 所有　　　　　　　　some 一些　　　　enough 充足的　　　　most 大部分

a lot of/lots of 許多　 plenty of 許多　 a large quantity of 大量

You needn’t hurry.There’s plenty of time.你不必著急。時(shí)間多著哩。（接不可數(shù)名詞）

There are plenty of men out of work.失業(yè)的人很多。（接可數(shù)名詞）

A large quantity of beer was sold out.大量的啤酒被售出。（接不可數(shù)名詞）

A large quantity of books were on sale.大量書籍有售。（接可數(shù)名詞）

①Large quantities of books are on the table.桌上有許多書。（接可數(shù)名詞）

②Large quantities of food are on the table.桌上有許多食物。（接不可數(shù)名詞）
