三、There be的其他用法

（一）There be可以用過去時(shí)態(tài)，be動(dòng)詞用was/were表示，使用規(guī)律與一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)be動(dòng)詞方法一樣

There was a cat under the table.桌子下面剛才有一只貓。

There wasn't any water in the bottle.瓶子里剛才沒有水。

There were seven apples in the bag，but now there is one left.剛才包里有七個(gè)蘋果，現(xiàn)在只剩下一個(gè)。

—Were there many tall buildings in old Shanghai？舊上海有很多高樓大廈嗎？

—No，there weren't.沒有。

（二）There be可用作將來時(shí)態(tài)，結(jié)構(gòu)為：There is going to be ...或There will be ...

如：There is going to be a football game between Class One and Class Two.

一班和二班之間將有一場足球比賽。

There will be a heavy rain this afternoon.今天下午將有一場大雨。

（三）There be+主語+doing+介詞短語

如：There are some birds flying in the sky.天空中有一群鳥兒在飛。

There are some children playing football in the playground.操場上有一群孩子在踢球。

Tips：

There be句型和have/has句型的區(qū)別。There be句型表示：某地存在有……，have/has 使用在人稱后，表示：某人擁有……。

如：There is a story book on the table.桌子上有一本書。

I have a story book.我有一本書。
