五、疑問代詞

疑問代詞在句中用來構(gòu)成特殊疑問句，主要用于詢問“什么人”、“什么物”，疑問代詞有who，whose，which，和what等，一般情況下是用在句首。

（一）who （誰）用于對人提問，既可以指單數(shù)，也可指復(fù)數(shù)。在句中作主語

Who is that boy？He's my brother.那個(gè)男孩是誰？是我弟弟。

Who likes running？Andy likes running.誰喜歡跑步？安迪喜歡跑步。

Who lives in this house？誰住在這個(gè)房子里？

Who are playing the piano？誰在彈鋼琴？

Who saw Danny？Alice saw him.誰看到丹尼了？愛麗絲看到他了。

Who 's that behind the table？It's Jack.誰在桌子后面？是杰克。

Tips：

疑問代詞who 做主語時(shí)，動(dòng)詞用單數(shù)還是復(fù)數(shù)形式，要根據(jù)他們代表的數(shù)決定。如果數(shù)的概念不清，動(dòng)詞多采用單數(shù)形式。

Who are there on the playground？誰在操場上？（問話者和聽話者都知道操場上有一些人）

Who is in the classroom now？現(xiàn)在誰還在教室里？（說話者和聽話者可能都不知道是否有人或者有多少人）

（二）Whose （誰的）對所屬關(guān)系提問，其后必須跟名詞。

Whose school bag is this？It's Tom's.這是誰的書包？是湯姆的。

Whose coats are these？They're our coats.那是誰的外套？那是我們的外套。

Whose birthday is it？It's my mother's.是誰的生日？是我媽媽的生日。

Whose is this new computer？It's yours.新電腦是誰的？是你的。

（三）what （什么）對物或事情提問，在句中作主語

1.what在句中作主語，后面不加名詞

What does Danny like？He likes oranges.丹尼喜歡什么？他喜歡橘子。

What can you see on the wall？I can see a sign.你看到墻上有什么？我看到一個(gè)標(biāo)志。

What are you doing now？I'm making a kite.你在干什么？我在做風(fēng)箏。

What are those in the dishes？They are sandwiches and apples.碟子里是什么？三明治和蘋果。

2.what后面加名詞

What color is your new dress？你的新裙子是什么顏色的？

What time is it？幾點(diǎn)了？

What day is today？今天是星期幾？

What size is this jacket？這件夾克是什么尺碼的？

What is it like？Is it good？它怎樣？好嗎？（句中的like不是動(dòng)詞，是介詞。）

（四）which（哪一個(gè)）一般在which后加名詞，用于對人、事或物提問

Which class are you in？你在哪一個(gè)班級(jí)？

Which way shall we go？我們該走哪條路？

Which teacher did you see？你看到哪位老師？

Which color do you prefer，red or purple？紅色和紫色，你喜歡哪一種顏色。

指物時(shí)，which后面可以不加名詞，如 Which is bigger，our school or your school？你們學(xué)校和我們的學(xué)校，哪個(gè)大？

Tips：

1.what和which

what 常泛指“哪一類”，which常指在具體的范圍內(nèi)進(jìn)行選擇。

Which colour do you like？Blue or green？藍(lán)色和綠色，你更喜歡哪一種？（在藍(lán)色和綠色之間選擇）

What colour do you like？你喜歡哪種顏色？（沒有選擇的范圍）

2.what和who

What is your mother？你母親是做什么的？（詢問職業(yè)）

— Who is that woman？那位女士是誰？（詢問身份）

— She is my maths teacher.她是我的數(shù)學(xué)老師。

3.9 Put in “who” or “whose” or “what”（請用who，whose或what填空）

1.____ is that expensive camera？It's his.

2.____ is in your pocket？It's a book.

3.____ is he doing？He's washing his bicycle.

4.____ gloves are these？They are my sister's.

5.____ is Karen doing？She's cooking lunch.

6.____ will the weather be like next week？It will be cool.

7.____ did you go with？I went with my classmate.

8.____ gave her the lunchbox？Her grandma.
