大學(xué)該為社會(huì)名流降

　　It is not rare to hear that some universities lower their admission requirements for celebrity students, such as a pop singer or an Olympic medal winner. Some people think it is unfair to other students, and the universities are utilitarian. But others hold the opinion that the celebrities can’t be blamed for their wanting to go to universities to improve themselves. They make contributions or have talents, so it is justified for universities to accept them with a relatively low requirement. From my point of view, universities should reasonably lower the admission requirements for celebrities, that is, although the requirementslowered, there must still be a principle.

　　許多大學(xué)為名人降低錄取水平，這樣的事并不少見(jiàn)，例如歌手、或是奧運(yùn)冠軍。許多人認(rèn)為這對(duì)于其他學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)很不公平，大學(xué)變得非常功利。但是其他人認(rèn)為名人不應(yīng)該受到指責(zé)，因?yàn)樗麄兿肷洗髮W(xué)繼續(xù)深造。他們?yōu)閲?guó)家做出了貢獻(xiàn)，或是某一領(lǐng)域的天才，所以為他們降低錄取要求是合情合理的。我認(rèn)為，大學(xué)應(yīng)該為名人適當(dāng)降低錄取要求，盡管降低了錄取要求，但是在錄取上還是有要求的。

　　On the one hand, it is of great significance for celebrities to be enrolled into universities. Take the Olympic winners for example. They started training since they were little children. They contribute their boundless wisdom and painstaking efforts to raising the level of our country’s sport competition. Lowering the admission requirements for them is the encouragement and support to their great achievements. It is also beneficial for them to do more contribution to the society after they retire if they receive high education and acquire more knowledge. What’s more, it is a way to combine the high education with competition training, and promote the career of sports. The celebrities make great contributions or have special talents. The universities should consider the situation fully and lower the admission requirements accordingly.

　　一方面，名人上大學(xué)是有著重大意義的。我們拿奧運(yùn)冠軍舉個(gè)例子。他們從小開(kāi)始接受訓(xùn)練。他們付出的辛勤勞動(dòng)，和聰明智慧，他們的努力提高了國(guó)家的體育競(jìng)技水平。為他們降低錄取要求是一種鼓勵(lì)，也是對(duì)他們所做成就的一種支持。退役之后，他們還將為國(guó)家做貢獻(xiàn)，前提是他們接受了高等教育，并獲得了知識(shí)。更重要的是，這是高等教育與訓(xùn)練的結(jié)合，并幫助他們延長(zhǎng)了運(yùn)動(dòng)生涯。這些名人為國(guó)家做出了貢獻(xiàn)，他們是某一領(lǐng)域的天才。大學(xué)應(yīng)該全面考慮問(wèn)題，并根據(jù)情況降低錄取要求。

　　On the other hand, not all the celebrities can be accepted into universities. The standard can be lowered but can’t be lowered without limit. The celebrities with primary school education or junior middle schooleducation should not be admitted to universities, because the high education is after senior high middle school. And the celebrities have to finish all the courses and pass all the exams. In my opinion, two principles should be considered. One is the education of senior middle school. The other is the credits required by the university. That’s to say, the celebrities should pay more attention to the study of knowledge, and they must complete their studies.

　　另一方面，不是所有的名人都能夠得到大學(xué)的錄取。學(xué)?？梢越档鸵?，但是這種降低是有限度的。那些擁有小學(xué)或是中學(xué)學(xué)歷的名人就沒(méi)有資格上大學(xué)，因?yàn)榇髮W(xué)教育是高中教育之后的教育。名人需要完成所有的課程，并通過(guò)考試。我認(rèn)為，我們應(yīng)該考慮兩點(diǎn)。第一是高中教育。第二是學(xué)校的名聲。就是說(shuō)，名人應(yīng)該注重的是學(xué)習(xí)知識(shí)，他們也必須完成學(xué)業(yè)。

　　To sum up, we should be sensible about lowering admission requirements for celebrities. For the celebrities who make contributions and have the capacity, universities should provide chances and give them special requirements. But for those who are not suitable, the universities should not lower the standard without limit.

　　總結(jié)，我們應(yīng)該在為名人降低錄取水平上更加理性一點(diǎn)。對(duì)于那些為國(guó)家效力，并有能力的名人來(lái)說(shuō)，大學(xué)應(yīng)該給予他們機(jī)會(huì)，并給予他們特殊的要求。但是對(duì)那些不符合條件的名人，大學(xué)也不應(yīng)該沒(méi)有限度的降低要求。
