真正的美麗
他剛剛做了父親，抱著剛出生的兒子，突然發(fā)現(xiàn)孩子的耳朵是很明顯的招風耳。他跟護士說他很擔心將來其他孩子會嘲笑他兒子，喊他“呆堡”一類的外號。大夫為嬰兒做了檢查后向這位父親保證，他的兒子很健康，耳朵凸出僅僅有些有礙觀瞻罷了。

不過這位情緒緊張的父親不肯罷休。他擔心孩子將來會因為受到奚落而影響心理健康，不知有沒有必要做個整形手術(shù)。

護士也向他保證真的沒有關(guān)系，等孩子長大可能就好了。

做父親的終于對孩子有了些信心，不過他接著開始擔心妻子見到這副又大又凸出的耳朵會作何反應(yīng)。她剛剛經(jīng)歷剖腹產(chǎn)，還沒有見過孩子。

他對護士說：“她可不像我那樣容易接受。”

就在這時，剛剛成為母親的妻子已經(jīng)被安頓在護理病房，準備要見自己的孩子了。護士隨這位父親一起進了病房，萬一這位無甚經(jīng)驗的母親因為孩子的大耳朵而焦急，她可以幫幫忙。

嬰兒被裹在接生毯里，頭也包了起來，以防在經(jīng)過吹著空調(diào)的走廊時受風。母親抱住了嬰孩，小心翼翼地把毯子移開，她終于可以第一次好好端詳一下孩子了。

她看看嬰兒的臉，又看看她的丈夫，感嘆道：“哦，親愛的！看！他的耳朵和你的一模一樣！”

這位母親什么事都沒有。她嫁給了這副耳朵的主人……而且她深愛著長著這樣一副耳朵的男人。

詩人紀伯倫曾經(jīng)說過，“美不呈現(xiàn)在臉上，美是心靈之光。”你望向了心靈之光，當然很難注意到耳朵的樣子了。

愛一個人就會愛他的全部，這種愛包容著他的所有好與不好，美與不美。愛了，就會是美的。
