Describe a beautiful house or apartment you have visited. You should say: when you visited it where it was what it was like And explain why you think it is beautiful.

The topic reminds me of a gorgeous villa I visited several months ago. It belongs to one of my best mate, who is running his own business right now. The house was a bit far from our city centre, and it took me about 2 hours to drive there. When I got there, I was already tired but totally astonished by the amazing scenery! The villa was surrounded by a small garden, with lilac walls and a purple roof. It looked like a mini castle under the bright sunshine! After a short chat, the host guided me to take a closer look at the house. There were three storeys and a basement in the house. The hall on the first floor was spacious and well decorated, with a range of family photos hanging on the wall. Bedrooms and bathrooms of my friends and his folks were distributed on the 2nd and 3rd floors. I noticed a study room next to the balcony on the second floor, coz the fireplace and decorations made it seem quite exotic and ancient. Actually my favourite part of the house was the garden attached to it, coz we barbequed there that afternoon and enjoyed the best time chatting and laughing. It was really a wonderful place made me feel happy and relaxed.
