　　1、租房場景

　　首先辨別是租房還是買房，For lease還是for sale

　　房子的類型有：flat, apartment, dormitory(dorm), student hotel, youth hostel)

　　一般房子有的家電或設施有：

　　stove, fridge, microwave oven, washing machine, air-condition, electric fans, radiator, electricstoves、bed, bookshelf, night table, wardrobe, cupboard, drawer, utensil, sofa, couch, coffee table

　　Room: bedroom, bathroom, living room, sitting room, balcony, kitchen, bedsit, studio, recreationroom, garage

　　Money: rent, deposit, insurance, water, electricity, gas, phone bill, laundry fee

　　床上用品有：

　　pillow, pillow case, bed linen, sheet, mattress, blanket, towel

　　房子位置：Road(Rd.), Street(St.), lane,

　　門廳的叫法：hall, lobby, porch

　　租房的規(guī)律為：離市中心越近，房價越高，位置稍偏，價錢會比較有吸引力;但便宜的房子一般有不理想的地方

　　not near the center, not near the railway station, fall from the bus stop, near the airport, noisy,shared kitchen,

　　insects, a stranger in the next door, have no privacy, have to prepare some repellant ,insectshaunting.

　　另外電話詢問看房子時：

　　Is it available now? when will it be available?

　　Is there a telephone? How far is it from…….? Is it furnished?

　　What is the rental price? How is it cooled /heated?

　　Furnished：意為配備家具。

　　2、課外研究場景

　　主要是在課外研究一些小的項目，小的調查研究，包括對學校里各個地方，食品(咖啡，小吃)等的價格的比較，這些看似不屑一顧的東西，這也是與文化背景有關系的，外國人注重人的實踐能力。

　　這部分主要注意聽力，特別關注的是研究方法、方法優(yōu)缺點、研究步驟、個人觀點等。

　　關于研究的：

　　research, survey, investigate, investigation, investigator, questionnaire, interview, observation,respondent, data, statistics, essay, presentation

　　關于實驗的：

　　Experiment、laboratory、analysis、methodology、dissertation、conclusion、references andbibliography、qualitative，research method、quantitative research method、casestudy、interview、questionnaire、hypothesis、pilot study、data collection、research findings

　　有關咖啡的一些類型：

　　instant coffee, real, Espresso(功夫咖啡，蒸餾咖啡), cappuccino, brewed coffee,etc.

　　另外一些關于吃的：

　　fish and chips, value for money, greasy...

　　3、圖書館場景

　　考點：作品名稱，哪年出版，作者姓名，student card, library card，借出費用，幾時到期，欠款多少等。

　　借書動作：

　　check out登記并借出，renew續(xù)借，overdue過期的，遲到的，return歸還，pay a fine支付罰款

　　書的狀態(tài)：

　　available可用到的,可得到的，可以借到的，out on loan借出的，reserved in circulation在書庫里，out of circulation借出，not for circulation不外借，closed reserved只讀不借

　　借的物品：

　　book書，newspapers報紙，video tapes錄像帶，journal雜志，periodicals期刊,雜志，currentissue現期刊物、a serious magazine produced for professional people or those with a particularinterest:期刊：刊登關于某特殊主題的文章的刊物，back issue過期刊物

　　借書需要證件：

　　library card/admission card圖書館出入卡，driving license/licence駕照，student card學生證，library card借書卡、call slip索書單

　　圖書館各部分名稱：

　　information desk n.服務臺，delivery/circulation desk借書臺，reference (stacks)參考,參考書目、open/closed shelf開架，閉架，photocopy room復印室，Return Area還書處，studentslocker學生存儲間、Reference Section參考書部

　　4、地理場景

　　一般是司機，導游，BBC programme介紹某個地方，城市的基本情況。

　　考點包括：名字，行政區(qū)劃，人口，語言風土人情，好處，不利，吸引人之處

　　注意轉折詞匯的運用：however, nevertheless, on the other hand

　　education, main industry:

　　climate/weather: wet and windy, cold and wet, rainy, cloudy.

　　Shape: rectangle

　　地理位置：Antarctica南極洲、north pole北極、Ski-equippedplanes、helicopter、kilocalories、carbohydrate、Asia亞洲、America美洲、Europe歐洲、Africa非洲、Oceania大洋洲

　　5、選課場景

　　此類情景主要注意課程類型、課程名稱、專業(yè)、課程時間、日期、申請人信息。

　　涉及選課主要是對語言的選擇：

　　French法語、Cantonese粵語、Mandarin普通話、Russian俄語、Italian意大利語、German德語、Portuguese葡萄牙、Japanese日語、Arabic阿拉伯語，Cantonese廣東話, Spanish西班牙語

　　課程類型：
