With the uprising of the Internet the biggest highlight of the Spring Festival of the year of sheep is grabbing red envelopes online.
As we all know, giving a red envelope with money inside is a historical custom which represents a good wish to the young from the old and also like an amulet wishing .It symbolizes good luck and wealth.
Especially, on the Spring Festival Gala, both hosts and audience were grabbing red envelopes from their friends, family or strangers. Besides, dozens of stars also gave away the money to the people. People did it by stamping Alipay, micro blog and shaking We Chat. Obviously, it seemed overnight that day.
Of course, it is not only a simple game, but it is a way that makes money by shaking your phone in your hands. There's no doubt that it creates a new way to have fun and make the atmosphere of Gala be a highlight.
But in the meanwhile , some problems have appeared since it was circulated widely , taking an anecdote for example , what young people who travelled a long distance to go back home did during the festival was not communicating with the elders but holding a cell phone all day to grab a red envelope.
Above all, we can learn it has damaged someone's sense of world value and eased the atmosphere of year.
Thus from my perspective, I'll hold an unfavorable view to this thing. What's more, I appeal to everybody to find something significant for us. Supposing that we don't take measures to deal with it, the Spring Festival's atmosphere and meanings will disappear gradually.
