高中英語(yǔ)作文:學(xué)校應(yīng)該開(kāi)展性教育嗎？Should Sex Education Be Taught At School?

Most peoplein China think it’s an embarrassing to talk about sex, they think it asensitive topic. That’s the reason why schools don’t impart this king ofknowledge to students. However, in my humble opinion, the sex education can notbe waited.

大多數(shù)中國(guó)人提到“性”這個(gè)話(huà)題時(shí)很尷尬，人們認(rèn)為“性”很敏感。這就是學(xué)校不愿意給學(xué)生教授性知識(shí)的原因。然而，在我看來(lái)，性教育不能再等待。

Why doyouth need sex education? Most teenagers get the HIV virus or sexuallytransmitted diseases because of having sex with an infected person. They canavoid any risk of HIV or STD if they have learned how to protect themselves. Onthe other hands, teenagers’pregnancy rate in China is astonishingly high. According to thesurvey, more than a million teenagers become accidentally pregnant each year.Now，this situation becomes serious.

為什么年輕人需要性教育呢？大多數(shù)青少年感染艾滋病或性病是因?yàn)榕c攜帶者發(fā)生關(guān)系。如果他們知道該如何保護(hù)自己，就能夠完全避免這些情況。另一方面，在中國(guó)，青少年的懷孕率高得驚人。通過(guò)調(diào)查顯示，每年有超過(guò)100萬(wàn)名青少女意外懷孕?，F(xiàn)如今，這種情況更加嚴(yán)重。

In myopinion, sex education is absolutely essential. The schools have theresponsibility to teach students to have the right attitude towards the genderissue. Taking about sex is not a shame. It is not embarrassment. The questionis no longer whether sex education should be taught, but rather how it shouldbe taught.

在我看來(lái)，性教育非常有必要。學(xué)校有責(zé)任教授學(xué)生對(duì)性問(wèn)題的正確的態(tài)度。談?wù)?ldquo;性”并不可恥，也不尷尬。但現(xiàn)問(wèn)題已不是該不該教授性知識(shí)，而是該如何教。
