回來的路上，阿美竟然碰到了媽媽和弟弟，原來在阿美買藥的時候，媽媽已經(jīng)帶弟弟去了一趟醫(yī)院。媽媽要阿美再去一趟藥店，阿美只好第三次去藥店，那么這次又是去干什么呢？

May: Here you are. How is Danny?

Shirley: Better now. We are just back from the hospital. We were lucky to meet a well-known doctor.

May: What did the doctor say?

Shirley: He said that he had a really bad cold.

May: Shall we go back home now?

Shirley: The dispensary closed. Here is the given prescription.

May: I bought some advanced medicine. Is there anything you need?

Shirley: Probably not. Some medicine we need is ethical drug which you can't buy without a prescription.

May: Now what?

Shirley: I'll go back home with Danny. You go to the pharmacy again.

May: Okay, this is the third time.

Shirley: What? How come? The third time?

May: You don't have to know. Bye for now.

Shirley: Be careful.

過去分詞作定語

單個的過去分詞作定語，通常放在被修飾的名詞之前，稱為前置定語，可以表示被動意義和完成意義。

1．過去分詞作前置定語

被動意義：

an honored teacher 一位受尊敬的老師

the injured workers 受傷的工人

完成意義：

She is a retired teacher. 她是個退休教師。

They are cleaning the fallen leaves in the yard.

他們正在打掃院子里的落葉。

2．過去分詞作后置定語

They decided to change the material used. 他們決定更換使用的材料。

3．過去分詞短語作定語

通常放在被修飾的名詞之后，它的作用相當(dāng)于一個定語從句，例如：

This will be the best novel ever written. 這將是小說中寫的最好的。

相當(dāng)于This will be the best novel that has ever been written.

4. 其它情況

如果被修飾的詞是由every, some, any, no +thing/ body/ one所構(gòu)成的復(fù)合代詞或指示代詞those等時，分詞要放在被修飾詞的后面
