1．現(xiàn)在分詞作定語
（1）現(xiàn)在分詞作定語時表示該動作正在進行，單個現(xiàn)在分詞作定語通常放在被修飾詞的前面
The rising sun looks very beautiful. 冉冉升起的太陽看著很美。
This is an exciting news. 這是個激動人心的消息。
（2）若被修飾詞與現(xiàn)在分詞是被動關系時，須用現(xiàn)在分詞的被動式(being done)作定語
The song being broadcast is very popular with the young.
正在播放的歌曲深受年輕人的歡迎。
2.現(xiàn)在分詞作表語
（1）現(xiàn)在分詞做表語是一些表示情緒、心理的詞，如excite, interest等，他們的現(xiàn)在分詞形式可以表示“令人激動的”，“令人感興趣的”等。若表示人對……感興趣，就是somebody is interested in…,若人或物本身有趣時，就是說sb./sth. is interesting
