　　以2019年6月的四級(jí)作文題目為例：

　　Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a news report to your campus newspaper on a visit t

　　卷一：a local farm organized by your Student Union.

　　卷二：a Hope Elementary School organized by your Student Union.

　　卷三：a volunteer activity organized by your Student Union to assist elderly people in the neighborhood.

　　以上三個(gè)題目，雖然披著新聞報(bào)道的外衣，但實(shí)則需要大家描述一次參觀的經(jīng)歷，寫明這次參觀的內(nèi)容“是什么”，因此可以歸為What類題目。

　　一般，對(duì)事物、經(jīng)歷、感受進(jìn)行描述性寫作的題目，都是What類題目。

　　在這類題目的寫作過程中，大家需要將事件的開始、過程、結(jié)束描述清楚，讓讀者能了解這到底是一個(gè)什么事件。

　　寫作技巧：

　　1.舉例說明。

　　如果作文中只有泛泛而談的語句，例如“我今天很開心”、“這樣做很有意義”，這會(huì)顯得作文假大空，寫作的時(shí)候也會(huì)遇到無話可說的情況。

　　解決這一問題的方法就是舉例，利用例子進(jìn)行說明，更能支撐起你的描述。

　　例如：Visiting the local farm is a good trip.

　　可改為：Visiting the local farm can have significant benefits. We can feel the textures of the animal fur, the dryness of the hay, the wet grass and the smooth vegetables from the farmer’s market.

　　2. 活用各類詞匯。

　　干巴巴的陳述句，放在作文里對(duì)讀者沒有任何吸引力。既然What類題目側(cè)重描述，那么描述的越具體，細(xì)節(jié)越精準(zhǔn)，作文內(nèi)容也就越充實(shí)。

　　活用動(dòng)詞、形容詞甚至副詞，為你的作文增添一些色彩吧。

　　例如：It’s a greataccomplishment for me, knowing that I have turned what could have been a really difficult day for grandpa into a great one, full of laughter and fun activities.
