　　1.Amen Pass 美國(guó)通行票

　　A: I'm interested in taking a bus tour of America. Do you have some kind of program that would allow me to do that at a good price?

　　甲:我很想坐汽車游覽美國(guó)。你們有沒有什么項(xiàng)目可以使我少花錢進(jìn)行這樣的旅游呢?

　　B: Yes, we do. It is called Ameri Pass.

　　2.combined a. 聯(lián)合的

　　A: How would you like it to be transported?

　　A: Could you please tell me where I should get off?

　　B: Sure. What's your destination, please?

　　5.direct flight 直航

　　A: I'd like to book one seat to Kansas City on a flight leaving sometime before next Friday.

　　B: There aren't any direct flights, sir. You'll have to change in San Francisco.

　　A: Who will hear the freight charges?

　　8.layover n. 中途稍作停留

　　A: How long is the layover in Korea?

　　甲:在韓國(guó)停留多久?

　　B: It's only one hour.

　　乙:僅僅一個(gè)小時(shí)。

　　9.luggage n. 行李

　　A: Ah, here's our Luggage, all safe and sound on the luggage racks. I didn't even have a chance to tip the porter.

　　甲:啊，我們的行李就安然無(wú)恙地在行李架上。我都沒有機(jī)會(huì)付小費(fèi)。

　　B: That's not done here in China. Like the waiters in hotels and restaurants, porters don't expect tips.

　　B: There's no way out. This is the only way to your destination.

　　A: Is this the right bus for the Shangri-La Hotel?

　　B: Oh，no. You should take Tram No. 12.

　　16.transport 運(yùn)輸

　　A: Transport by sea is the most important mode of transportation in the World today.

　　B: Usually, it is cheaper to have goods sent by sea than by railway.
