Every year, for International Women's Day—March 8, I have a tradition of posting illustrations dedicated to many brave women from around the world. In the past years, there were 91 illustrations dedicated to all female recipients of the Yugoslavian "Order of the People's Hero," as well as portraits of female combatants from the Spanish Civil War.

每年的3月8日國(guó)際婦女節(jié)，我都有一個(gè)傳統(tǒng)，就是為來(lái)自世界各地的許多勇敢的女性張貼插圖。在過(guò)去的幾年里，有91幅插圖獻(xiàn)給所有收到南斯拉夫“人民英雄勛章”的女性，還有西班牙內(nèi)戰(zhàn)中女性戰(zhàn)士的肖像。

This year, I decided to publish illustrations of 10 female activists. They have been clearing the path for every woman out there and represent everyday inspiration. Unfortunately, some of them are still facing prison sentences and prosecution. Their work should be our example and inspiration of how to build a better future for everyone.
