Her ornate and lush cakes resemble famous paintings and exquisite flower bouquets that look too real to eat. You’d probably want to rather put these masterpieces on your windowsill or hang them on your wall if they were not made entirely out of sugar. These are the cakes with a real "wow factor," and they will please your eyes before your taste buds!

“I have been baking since I was a little girl. My parents are great cooks, but they didn’t bake, so that fell to me. I loved trying out delicious recipes and making them look pretty. I have been a visual artist my whole life and work in many media. But I didn’t think about putting the two things together until a trip to London over 20 years ago. I visited Harris’s famous food hall and fell in love with the intricately designed lace confections. I soon began to teach myself how to make sugar flowers from whatever books I could get my hands on—there weren’t many back then! Over the years, I’ve continued to challenge myself to make more daring and elaborate designs. The bigger the challenge, the better!” the artist told Bored Panda.
