Sony finally revealed the PlayStation 5. It was the first time people saw what the video game console -- which is scheduled for late 2020 -- looks like. The design of the PS5 hardware is somewhat outlandish, and there's a whole family of accessories to match it.

Sony's PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan said it's "bold and future-facing." But the Internet thinks PS5 reminds an alien Wi-Fi router. Or a medieval helmet. Immediately after the console was unveiled, people flooded social media with memes making fun of it, and they're absolutely savage.
