吃雞腿別舔手指頭，KFC廣告都停播了

KFC recently paused an ad campaign in the U.K. that shows people licking their fingers after more than 100 people complained about it amid the coronavirus outbreak, according to The Drum.

《The Drum》雜志報道，肯德基最近下架了英國的一個廣告，廣告中的人們在吮吸手指，100多人在疫情爆發(fā)期間投訴了這個廣告。

The ad is called "The Piano" and is a play on the company's tagline "Finger-licking good." In the video, dozens of people are shown licking their fingers (and in one case, someone else's) in public places while eating KFC's chicken. It's set to the sounds of Chopin’s Nocturne op.9 No.2.

這個廣告名為“The Piano”，表現(xiàn)的是該公司的廣告語“吮指留香”。廣告中有數(shù)十個人在公共場所邊吃肯德基的炸雞邊吮吸手指(有一個人吮吸的是別人的手指)，配的音樂是肖邦降E大調(diào)夜曲。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

According to the outlet, 163 people complained to the UK's Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) about the ad, which premiered two weeks ago as people were being encouraged to wash their hands often and avoid public gatherings because of the coronavirus outbreak.

肯德基稱，有163個人向英國廣告標(biāo)準(zhǔn)局投訴這個廣告，兩周前這個廣告首播時受新冠肺炎影響，人們被鼓勵要勤洗手，避免公眾集會。

The complaints reportedly called the ad "irresponsible" and said that it encouraged behavior that could spread the virus.

據(jù)說投訴的人說這個廣告“不負(fù)責(zé)任”，鼓勵了可能傳播病毒的行為。

KFC confirmed in a statement to the outlet that it would be pulling the ad for the time being but said it hopes to bring it back at a later date.

肯德基在發(fā)給門店的聲明中確認(rèn)將會暫時下架這個廣告，但希望晚些時候能重新開始播放。

“It doesn’t feel like the right time to be airing this campaign, so we’ve decided to pause it for now—but we’re really proud of it and look forward to bringing it back at a later date," they told The Drum.

他們對《The Drum》雜志說：“現(xiàn)在不是播放這個廣告的合適時機(jī)，所以我們決定要暫停播放，但我們真的很欣賞這個廣告，期待著晚些時候能恢復(fù)播放。”

According to Fox News, both Hershey's and Coors have had to pull campaigns because of context about coronavirus prevention, with Hershey's having an ad that featured people hugging and Coors dubbing itself the “Official Beer of Working Remotely.”
