An Australian woman fabricated her resume, submitted phony “glowing” references and even used a photo of supermodel Kate Upton on her Linkedin profile to land a plum government job down under.

Veronica Hilda Theriault, 46, was pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges of deception, dishonesty and abuse of office, all of which stemmed from the scheme.

Theriault applied in 2017 to the role of chief information officer with South Australia’s Department of Premier and Cabinet, which pays about $185,000 a year.

She worked there for more than a month before she was busted and fired.

The court heard that Theriault sent in a dodgy resume with false information about her education and prior employment. When the time came for reference checks, she posed as a previous employer and “gave glowing feedback” on her own performance, according to the report.

Theriault has also previously used a photo of supermodel Kate Upton on her LinkedIn profile, 7 News Australia reported.

In addition, she had her brother, Alan Hugh Melville Corkill, write a false reference claiming she was a senior leadership official with 20 years’ experience, according to the report.

Once in the role, she hired Corkill on contracts — earning him more than $15,000 in three weeks, according to Channel 7.

Theriault was suffering from bipolar disorder at the time, the Australian TV network added.

Her new employer began to question her case when her mental health declined shortly after she began the role, CNN reported.

Judge Michael Boylan told the court he’d considered Theriault’s mental health, but called the charges “serious,” adding that the woman’s actions were planned.

The court was also told that the woman used resumes with false information to obtain employment elsewhere in 2012 and 2014 — and even to win an award, according to reports.
