英國推出全球首款羊毛棺材

A British mill has created the world's first woolencoffins to satisfy an unusual gap in the funeralmarket.

英國一家工廠制造出了全球首款羊毛棺材，以滿足殯葬市場上這一不尋常的需求。

AW Hainsworth, which clothes royalty at ceremonialevents, invented the product because of adissatisfaction with traditional caskets.

由于對傳統(tǒng)棺材不滿意，英國皇室御用制造商海恩斯沃斯推出了這款產(chǎn)品。

Conventional coffins are made from wood, which makes them cold, angular and unapproachable to grieving family members, according to A WHains worth.

據(jù)海恩斯沃斯介紹，傳統(tǒng)的棺材是用木頭做的，看起來又冷又生硬，讓悲痛的家人無法接近。

Woolen coffins on the other hand, are made from wool and comprise an MDF base board, a cardboard frame and a cotton lining and costing GBP900.

而這款羊毛棺材則是由羊毛、中密度纖維板、瓦楞紙板架及棉內(nèi)襯構成，售價為900英鎊。

The idea of woolen coffins goes back to the 17th century, when the deceased had to be buried in wool in an attempt to boost the industry.

羊毛棺材的創(chuàng)意最早可以追溯到17世紀，當時為了振興殯葬行業(yè)，死者必須用羊毛埋葬。

AW Hainsworth, aware of criticisms level led at traditional coffins, decided to reinvent the idea and has since placed a patent on it.

海恩斯沃斯在意識到人們對傳統(tǒng)棺材的批判之后，決定重新利用這個想法，并申請了專利。
