當(dāng)高冷的甲骨文變成萌萌的表情包

Jiaguwen, or "oracle bone script", the earliest Chinese writing inscriptions carved on tortoise shell sand animal scapulas, comes alive on the Chinese internet and evolves as a new online language among the young generation.

甲骨文最近在國(guó)內(nèi)網(wǎng)絡(luò)上“活”了過來，并發(fā)展成年輕一代使用的新網(wǎng)絡(luò)語(yǔ)言。甲骨文是刻在龜甲和獸骨上的文字，是我國(guó)最古老的文字。

"I never imagined that I could use Jiaguwen to communicate with my friends. I thought they could only be seen in my textbooks and be understood bya few researchers. Also, these memes look so creative and cute," said a Sina Weibo user.

一位新浪微博用戶稱：“我從沒想過自己能用甲骨文與朋友交流。我以為甲骨文只會(huì)出現(xiàn)在課本上，只有少數(shù)研究者才能理解。再說，這些表情也很有創(chuàng)意、很萌。”

"The digitization of Jiaguwen is a brilliant idea to promote Chinese traditional culture, and I hope the designers can launch more memes for me to learn the ancient characters," a WeChat user added.

一位微信用戶補(bǔ)充稱：“甲骨文的數(shù)字化是弘揚(yáng)中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化的一個(gè)好主意，我希望設(shè)計(jì)者們能夠推出更多的表情包，來幫助我學(xué)習(xí)古代文字。”

Chen Nan, who designs Jiaguwen memes, is happy to know that Chinese netizens like his works.

甲骨文表情包的設(shè)計(jì)者陳楠很高興國(guó)內(nèi)網(wǎng)友喜歡他的作品。

A graduate of the Academy of Arts and Design of Tsinghua University, Chen has devoted himself to studying Chinese characters' design for 19 years.

陳楠畢業(yè)于清華大學(xué)美術(shù)學(xué)院，19年來一直致力于研究漢字設(shè)計(jì)。

"At present, most people think Jiaguwen is hard to understand and ignore the great historic value of it. Through using Jiaguwen memes, I truly hope that more people can develop an interest in the ancient characters and make it accessible to more people's daily lives," Chensaid.

陳楠表示：“現(xiàn)在多數(shù)人都認(rèn)為甲骨文晦澀難懂，忽略了其重要的歷史價(jià)值。我真心希望通過使用甲骨文表情包，更多的人能對(duì)這種古代文字產(chǎn)生興趣，使甲骨文更貼近人們的日常生活。”

"The design and promotion of Jiaguwen should follow the trend rather than be turned into a cultural symbol that is obscure and unpredictable," he said.

他說道：“甲骨文的設(shè)計(jì)推廣應(yīng)該順應(yīng)潮流，不應(yīng)該把它塑造成晦澀難懂、高深莫測(cè)的文化符號(hào)。”
