世界最丑狗狗出爐 英國(guó)斗牛犬榮膺冠軍

Zsa Zsa, a 9-year-old English bulldog, was named the winner of the 30th annual World's Ugliest Dogcontest last Saturday night at the Sonoma-MarinFairgrounds in Petaluma, California.

英國(guó)一只名叫扎扎的9歲牛頭犬，于上周六晚在加州柏城的索諾馬-馬林游樂場(chǎng)舉辦的第三十屆世界最丑狗狗大賽中摘得冠軍。

According to the winner's owner, a Minnesota woman named Megan Brainard who will receive $1,500 forher dog's win, she found Zsa Zsa on a pet-finding site.

扎扎的主人是來自明尼蘇達(dá)州的梅根·布蕾納德女士，她是在一家寵物救助網(wǎng)站上發(fā)現(xiàn)了扎扎。她將因?yàn)樵@此殊榮而贏得1500美元的獎(jiǎng)金。

Dogs in the annual competition flaunt their imperfections - some have hairless bodies, others have lolling tongues.

在歷年的最丑狗狗大賽上，狗狗都以缺陷為傲，有的狗狗身體沒有毛發(fā)，還有的狗狗耷拉著長(zhǎng)舌頭。

The contestants included a blackhead-covered Chinese Crested-Dachshund mutt, a bulldog mix with excess wrinkly skin and a Pekingese named Wild Thang.

參賽選手包括了一頭戴著黑頭頭套的中國(guó)臘腸狗，一只皮膚上有過多皺紋的牛頭犬，還有一只叫“WildThang”的北京哈巴狗。

Last year's winner was a 57-kilogram gentle giant named Martha -- a Neopolitan Mastiff with gas and a droopy face.

去年的冠軍是一個(gè)57公斤重、名叫瑪莎的溫和巨人。它是一只身上有氣味、還有一張耷拉著的臉的紐波利頓犬。

The judges say that the contest is an opportunity to show everyone that even ugly animals deserve lots of love and attention.

裁判們表示，大賽借此機(jī)會(huì)告訴人們，即使是丑陋的動(dòng)物也值得寵愛和關(guān)注。
