印度小哥發(fā)明“電擊鞋” 可以電擊色狼并報(bào)警

女性強(qiáng)奸案頻發(fā)是令印度政府頭疼的大問題，為幫助女性保護(hù)自己，18歲的印度高中生西達(dá)爾特•曼達(dá)拉(Siddharth Mandala)發(fā)明了一種“電擊鞋”。當(dāng)使用者遇到危險(xiǎn)時(shí)，鞋子能釋放0.1安培的電流電擊侵犯者，并會(huì)向警方和使用者家屬發(fā)出警報(bào)。

18歲的曼達(dá)拉來自海得拉巴，因?yàn)榭吹教嗯员槐┝η址傅陌咐?，他和母親加入要求政府保護(hù)婦女安全的示威活動(dòng)，并立志投入心力。

He spent years working on the “ElectroShoe”, a unique type of anti-sexual assault footwear that electrocutes attackers by inflicting 0.1 Ampere of electricity while also alerting police and family members that the wearer is in danger. All the wearer has to do is kick the perpetrator.

曼達(dá)拉歷時(shí)幾年研究出的“電擊鞋”是一種防性侵的特殊鞋子，使用者只要抬腳踢向侵犯者，鞋子就可以釋放0.1安培的電流電擊對(duì)方，并會(huì)向警方和使用者的家屬發(fā)出警報(bào)。

曼達(dá)拉表示，因?yàn)榕酝獬鰰r(shí)可能會(huì)忘記攜帶噴霧器、電擊棒等裝備，但每個(gè)人出門都要穿鞋，一定不會(huì)忘記，所以他決定設(shè)計(jì)電擊鞋來保護(hù)女性、對(duì)抗色狼。他說：

“To accomplish this, I created a unique circuit board that uses footsteps to charge itself with the help of a concept called the ‘piezoelectric effect’ which I learned in my physics class. The more the user walks, the more energy is generated and stored in a rechargeable battery.”

“為了制作電擊鞋，我發(fā)明了一種特殊的電路板，走路時(shí)就能充電。這其中應(yīng)用的原理叫做“壓電效應(yīng)”，是我從物理課上學(xué)到的。使用者走得越多，就能產(chǎn)生更多能量并存儲(chǔ)在可充電電池中。”

Despite having no higher education in technology or science, Mandala valiantly attempted to develop the shoe on his own, but after suffering several shocks himself, he realized he needed to seek help from professionals.

盡管曼達(dá)拉沒有受過科技方面的高等教育，但是他勇敢嘗試憑借自己的力量研發(fā)電擊鞋。在被電了幾次后，他意識(shí)到需要向?qū)I(yè)人士尋求幫助。

“While experimenting, I faced electrocution twice, and my friend Abhishek even developed a nosebleed,” the 17-year-old said. “But whenever I felt like giving up, I remembered my favorite inventor Thomas Edison’s words, ‘I didn’t fail 1,000 times. The light-bulb was an invention with 1,000 steps.”

17歲的曼達(dá)拉說：“在試驗(yàn)期間，我被電擊了兩次，我的朋友阿布舍克甚至流鼻血了。但是每當(dāng)我想要放棄時(shí)，我就會(huì)想到我最喜歡的發(fā)明家托馬斯•愛迪生的話：‘我并不是失敗了1000次，燈泡的發(fā)明經(jīng)歷了1000個(gè)步驟’”。

The ElectroShoe is still in it’s developmental stage and is not available to purchase just yet. Mandala has a few kinks left to work out and he still has to find a way to make the invention work with shoe styles other than flip-flops, but he has filed a patent and plans to market the ElectroShoe soon.

電擊鞋仍處于研發(fā)階段，現(xiàn)在尚未開始銷售。曼達(dá)拉還有幾個(gè)想法需要實(shí)現(xiàn)，他還在尋找將電擊鞋與人字拖以外的鞋款融合的方法。但他已經(jīng)申請(qǐng)了專利，并計(jì)劃很快將其投入市場(chǎng)。

In the meantime, Mandala has become very enthusiastic about pursuing an education and subsequent career in science and technology in order to keep creating innovative crime-prevention products.

此外，曼達(dá)拉現(xiàn)在非常希望在科技專業(yè)繼續(xù)深造并以此為事業(yè)，他希望繼續(xù)發(fā)明具有創(chuàng)新性的預(yù)防犯罪產(chǎn)品。
