4. 清明節(jié)

On the Tomb-sweeping Festival, people go to sweep the graves or burial grounds of their ancestors. Traditionally, they took a rooster with them to the graves. However, as the time goes by, the event has been less formal now. There are many different customs on the Tomb-sweeping Festival, among which the main ones are tomb sweeping and spring outing. It is a day not only for people to commemorate the dead, but also to enjoy leisure and entertainment time. Spring outings not simply increase enjoyment of life, but encourage people to have a healthy body and mind. The festival is really a combination of sadness and happiness.

清明節(jié)（the Tomb-sweeping Festival）時(shí)，人們會(huì)去自家祖先的墳?zāi)够蛟岬貟吣?。傳統(tǒng)上，人們?nèi)r(shí)會(huì)帶一整只公雞。但隨著時(shí)間的推移，掃墓現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)不再那么正式。清明節(jié)有多種不同的習(xí)俗，其中最主要的是掃墓和春游（spring outing）。這一天不僅是人們紀(jì)念亡人的節(jié)日，也是休閑娛樂(lè)的日子。春游不只增添生活樂(lè)趣，還可以鼓勵(lì)人們擁有健康的身體和思想。這個(gè)節(jié)日真可謂是悲傷和幸福的組合體。
